Crimson Alliance and Kirby's Return to Dream Land PAX Impressions

Now that I'm back from PAX Prime 2011, things should be slowing down. Should. Turns out I'm busier than ever with writing about to be spread over four different places. Today the first few PAX impressions articles went up, with Crimson Alliance and Kirby's Return to Dream Land making their way over to The Escapist, both games I was pleasantly surprised with. More on those after the jump!

No Right Answer and Drinking Games for Thursday, August the 25th

It's Thursday and therefore I've got two new episodes popping up on The Escapist today.

First, our episode of No Right Answer has Kyle and I debating which is Alan Moore's best work between The Watchmen and The Killing Joke. Tough call. Who's gonna win? You've got to watch to find out.

Next up is Drinking Games and not only are we coming up with nonsensical rules for Marvel vs Capcom 2, Dan and I also decide to do it without shirts on. You know, just because fighting games make us sweaty. Find out what sort of ridiculousness Dan will spout today and give it a watch.

Tomocast Episode 29: Batman!

Forgot to mention, last week I got a chance to sit down with Pedro Cortes, Kristina Pino, and Kyle Martinak for one hell of a Batman podcast for Tomopop. The Tomocast is becoming my favorite thing to be a part of, so check out our insanely-long (two and a half hours) podcast all about Batman and why he's the best.

Authentically Awesome Anime: Death Note

If you're not aware yet, Wednesday is my usual day for posting over at www.toy-tma.com. Seeing as today is Wednesday, a new article is up and today I felt like I was in a particularly Death Note mood. The reason is all because Netflix has all 37 episodes on Instant Play, and best yet, they're the Japanese dubs with English subtitles, just the way I remember seeing them first.

Even better, this time around I've convinced my wife to jump into the series with me, which in and of itself is an accomplishment. Thus far she seems interested, so i couldn't be happier. You can check out the full summary here:

The Start of Something Beautiful

After much pushing and prodding from my wife, I finally listened and booted up my own personal website. I don't much like the technical aspect of the Internet and figured, "running my own website would just be too much work." The solution is simply to create a basic Blogspot website to post anything I feel like.

My goal is not to start a sensation or anything but mainly just give myself a better venue to post anything I feel like talking about on a daily basis in a place away from Facebook or Twitter. I'll make sure to update everything I'm doing around the Web so that if you'd like you can stay up-to-date on my Internet activities.

Now let's see how long this lasts!
